Listing of LS group travel and dates - - All of January at the desires resorts is international swingers month. We are going Jan 9-16th. On all the other LS sites there is travel calendars. Not on here though.
Wishbones - - Since we joined the lifestyle we've thought the idea of a symbol of some sort was a great one. I've read about the apple, but not the wishbone before now. I think swingers are in a good place for this right now - the internet has made it possible for those with an interest to pursue it, but it's not mainstream enough so that people who are in it "stand out." Pretty much everybody knows about the rainbow now, but I think very few would know about a swingers symbol, for a while anyway.
Whether it was the rainbow or what ear the earring went in as a sign for gays, or I believe at one time the BDSM community used bandanas to communicate preferences, it's great to have a way to be tipped off that others share the same interest. It'd be nice if this takes off.
Divorce rates - How do we compare - Accurate stats on this would be tough to get because of who would answer honestly that they were swinging before getting divorced - but you could probably get close and our bet would be that its pretty close to 50/50??
Having said that, I guess we're going to skew the stats negatively towards the swingers since we plan on getting divorced as soon as all the kids are grown. We dont believe that marriage is needed to prove ones love and commitment for each other. We we're successful at this for the first 7 years, and 2 kids; (bastards - lol) of our relationship. But back in the day before GLBT(P) started fighting for equal rights, insurance companies wouldn't cover "straight" partners either, so we got married to get coverage, among some of the other rights that might pertain to our children.
We have no problem with others getting married to extend their love for one another and we celebrate it. However, we absolutely detest governments using marriage as a tool to control the masses and their choice of romantic endeavors with each other - the rights that straight couples also loose from this should have many more people up in arms about it!
This is one of the problems that has aided in the distortion of what love, marriage and true friendship really is which in turn causes more divorce... and people that CANT HANDLE SWINGING.
Moab lifestyle - looking for what lies under the covers in Moab - Sadly Evildoers is right, at least in our experience. Sure, plenty of swingers travel to Moab, but if there is a notable population of local swingers interested in meeting outsiders, they keep themselves incredibly well-hidden. In fact, you'd be very hard-pressed to even find a single-male to join you, and that's even if you completely toss out any expectations and standards. The reality is that the bulk of Utah's population is on the sexually conservative end of the spectrum.

No response emails :-( - - So, NOTJUSTMEE, the first thing I would ask is: what are your objectives? Why this swingers site? Are you just trying to get laid? If so, there are better places for you. You're probably getting to the point that you may realize that singles, especially single males, don't seem to do well here. AFF may be a better answer, but I have to tell you, way back when I was a single male not looking for commitment, about 7 years ago before I met Mrs. Sexperimentors, I got luck on Match WAY, WAY more than any other site. If you're trying to connect with an older woman who can give you all the experience only an older woman can - I love this - go to richsugarmomma or sugarmommaclub or another of the sugar momma sites. They actually work if you're a young stud that's not overly discerning. If you're interested in being with a couple, you're probably in as good a place as any. You're going to have to travel, you're going to have to be very specific in your communication with what you want, what your expectations are, you're going to have to be very, very patient.
Discretion a Must?!? - Let us know - We live in a small town (small town, small minds, big mouths and notorious for it) but we chose to post our pics, face and all and haven't had anything majorly bad come from it.
The few times someone did recognize us they were nice enough to email us at the site they saw us on and saysomething to the effect of, "We saw you out and didn't want to bother you (as usually it was us having a nice dinner out), but we wanted to say hi here... etc etc.."
That's a great way to handle it, folks!
