am back - spliting up sucks - We would not play with either of the couple if they were divorced. We became swingers so we can play as a couple with another couple. I work in a church and know that most members here would frown upon the lifestyle. let me add that most of them are retired while I am in my late 20's. But a young minister that we had here, who left to head up another chruch, and I had a number of discussions about sex and whatnot. His opnion was that he didn't think God honestly cared what we did with our sex lives, that there were more important things to be concerned with. (as long as it doesn't negatively effect others) I'm not sure if it's a generation thing? My wife was rasied in a baptist church which seemed to be a "not talk about sex" kinda congregation, yet she and her family are very open in their discussions, some might say (me) a little too discriptive in their talks (like grandma and her new husband) but open none the less. My basic theology is that Jesus doesn't want you to live a life of repentance or guilt but rather that you enjoy all that life has to offer, and most importantly be decent and caring towards others, not necessarily in a sexual way but in a friendship helping way. The bottom line is that we all screw up from time to time, but don't dwell on it, learn from your mistakes, ask for forgivenness and move on to help others. Friend collectors or swingers - - Right now we are standing down. Sometime next year, we will be on the prowl. When we first started swinging, we would meet a couple, or sometimes a single someplace public. If we found that we shared some commonality, attraction, chemistry and trust, we sometimes moved the encounter someplace private. Yes, we did a fair amount of first date fucking! 99% of the time that went well. We found that the people we met that lived fairly close, and shared somewhat similar schedules became the people we ended up seeing with some frequency. These relationship sort gravitated into something somewhat exclusive. We pretty much only occasionally went to meet and greets or an event. We sort of got out of the habit of meeting new people and hooking up. Some of these special friends ended up moving out of state and some ended up moving to distant parts of Utah. A few people still live somewhat nearby. While all of this was happening, several of our kids got married, became parents, and our social lives became mostly time spent with family. We aren’t complaining. Swinging just sort of moved to a back burner. At first, after our first real encounter, we hooked up maybe six or seven times every month. Our kids were at that stage in life where they needed more autonomous time away from home with friends, and so we had more time to play with friends too! Now that we are in midst of this pandemic, we are living monogamously. Sometime next year, once a vaccine is in play, we hope to revisit the lifestyle, and reconnect with some old friends, and make some new friends. We would like to get back to a small group of friends, who live nearby, and all share attraction, trust and desire. Probably, as before that will require some meet ups, with new and exciting people, at a public place and then if that goes well, some sexy erotic, orgasmic adventures.
