KSL swing story - - I wouldn't say that, Rob. They did a piss-poor job of bluring out "Spice" on the party ticket and had a pretty good shot of the intro page and Swingular is #4 on the sponsored links if you do a Google search for "swingers and Utah". It won't be hard to find. I'd recommend disabling the "Swingers in your area" part of the intro page for a while.
The root of it is that this story is about cheating, not swinging. All it talks about is married men cheating with their neighbors and looking for sex online all the while making helpless victims out of women. That has nothing to do with swinging, that is plain old fashioned cheating on your spouse. But the slant KSL put on it to make something out of a non-story is interesting. It gives great fuel for the gossip in the Relief Society and Priesthood meetings.
What's interesting about this also is, I read somewhere once that although less then 1% of the general population actually does swing, as much as 40% of people fantasize and talk about it with their spouse. Hypocrites.

Friend collectors or swingers - - We don't fuck people we don't consider friends. But you don't HAVE to fuck us to be our friend. Our friend list, right now, has maybe a dozen couples on it...only one of which we are currently (and infrequently, I might add) playing with. Personally, we're not looking for more people to play with until this whole COVID thing is a LOT more under control. Are swingers moral? - Who determines what morals are? - From certain perspectives yes that's what I'm saying. Religion twists things but from the view of an Islamic extremest what those terrorists did on that plane was the pinnacle of a moral example. From our point of view it was horrid and sick. We are in the out group to these terrorists and religion has warped their view so that they think they need to defend the ideals of their in group. Understanding that they believe they are doing good things doesn't excuse them from the bad things they do. Like how the Pope isn't innocent for using his influence to stop people from using condoms in countries riddled with AIDS and parent less children. He believes he is doing right but is inexcusable.

Swinging ,Or cheating? - - Swinging is having sex with people who are not your legal spouses. By definition, having sex with someone who is not your legal spouse is cheating. Therefore all swingers are cheaters, whether or not the spouse knows it. Now, throw that out the window, and label everyone who swings, as cheaters, but ONLY if their spouse does not participate. Don\'t bother to find out if he or she knows, approves, or even suggested it themselves.
Having said that, I am still totally amazed that there are so many narrow-minded folks in this lifestyle. Yes, I completely agree that EVERYONE should know what is going on. I completely DISAGREE that those who play without their spouse\'s participation are automatically defiend as cheaters.
I cannot speak for anyone else, but the fact remains, I don\'t do a thing without my spouse knowing about it. That includes participation in video chat (which she comes to very frequently, just ask anyone who is a regular), e-mailing or chatting with others, meeting, hanging out, or even adult play. If people bothered to get to know me, they would know that. But they knee-jerk and completely eliminate great people like me from their lives, just because they didn\'t bother to look before their leap to label.
If they want to shut me out because I am married and my wife doesn\'t participate, they should go ahead and exercise their right to do so. It doesn\'t bother me a bit. They are perfectly entitled to do so, and I applaud them for that choice.
But they are not allowed to jump to the conclusion that I am \"cheating\" because she doesn\'t play. That\'s grade-school-playground namecalling, slanderous, and beyond immature.
If you don\'t know the circumstances, then you don\'t have the right to go around labeling everyone else. Whoever you are.
