Swingers dying out? - Is the utah swinger community dying or becoming to needy? - seems like if your not ken and barbi couples want the whole dating thing :( only met 2 couples now that we were ok with ... most wanted to much or were to fukered up No name mentioning. One was abusive to his wife forcing her to this alll.. That one alone took us a year to try again... one single girl and a couple didnt get out inside jokes... Jike brat = britt HS nickname or shes gonna get it = shes in for a good fucking to make her scream for more... or couple just finished to early and left a few of us still going trying to ignore sideline conversations... hence seperate rooms now lol ... or someone that finishes so fast they get all wierd on completion and end it... Our angle its all innuendo and pleasing eachother as a couple others are there for us as learning and to keep our own grass green and fertilized not ever looking at the other lawns...

Too Young to be Taken Seriously? - -
My husband and I are interesting in joining the lifestyle, starting slow. However I've noticed the majority of people here are older. We both are twenty, is this too young to be taken seriously in the lifestyle? Should we keep at it, or come back in 10-20 years. I do understand if people want their partners to be old enough to have an adult beverage with them. But perhaps it is the maturity level? Maturity level is different for everyone. There are twenty year olds who act years older than they are, and sixty year olds who act younger than we are. To each their own I guess. I'm not asking to have everyone be my friend right now. I'm just curious as to what people think about younger swingers. What is your opinion about say twenty-five or younger couples?
My husband and I are both in our twenties and LOVE our new lifestyle. Even if the people are older it seems that they haven't been in the lifestyle for a super long time. Don't worry. Come to a party and you will have regardless

Swinger Literature? - magazine articles, books, web articles... - As EdNBrenda said a very good book would be "The Lifestyle." It is a little bit dated but the book is research based and has a lot of interesting information from history to demographics. It is not a book to grab for raw excitement but a very good book for intellectual discussion. What makes it unique is the book seems very objective and was written by a non swinger doing his research as an observer of the lifestyle. For a bit more fun read Dave Barry's article on Swing Conventions - here is a bit of it (email me for all of it). "You don't think of swingers as being the type of people who hold conventions. By ''swingers,'' I mean couples who swing with other couples. By ''swing,'' I mean, ``you know exactly what I mean.''ut my point is that you (and by ''you,'' I mean ''I'') don't think of swingers as being big conventiongoers. You think of them as hanging out at private parties, or exclusive swinger nightclubs, or secluded motels, or the Clinton White House. You don't picture swingers walking around large convention hotels wearing name badges and attending seminars, like executives in the forklift industry." "Attire aside, most of the swingers seemed to be regular people. In fact, according to a story about the convention in The Herald, the two most-common professions for swingers are police officer and teacher. This stunned me, especially the teachers. I mean, remember when you were a kid, and you were shocked whenever you saw a teacher at, say, the supermarket, because you didn't think of teachers as having any existence outside of school, or even necessarily as being food-eating life forms? Well, imagine if you encountered your trigonometry teacher wearing a garment that left absolutely nothing to the imagination regarding the cosine OR the hypotenuse." "I think that, as parents, we should be concerned about the fact this type of individual is being employed in our schools. Maybe we should notify the police." "No, wait."

STD Testing - How often are you tested? - The only thing is that the test results are pretty much only good for the day they were done. Unless someone gets tested and then stays in a vault cut off from anyone else until the test results come back there is no way to determine if they are still STI free. Even accounting for incubation periods an STI test is really only good for that MOMENT when your blood was drawn. Bottom line if you're going to swing first be okay with the real and inherent risks and second protect yourself to the extent that you feel okay with those risks. We do our homework about what diseases are out there and then act appropriately. To us it only makes sense to assume that EVERYONE has an STD (most adults are seropositive for HSV type 1 or 2 which are now almost interchangeable as to where they can and will induce a primary infection) and to protect ourselves accordingly. People that are super paranoid about sex cooties prolly shouldn't be swingers. JMO Not even going to mention how some VERY common STI's don't have a reliable test and thus aren't routinely screened for.

KUTV News Story on Swingers - News -
Come to the dark side of swinging! We have cookies!
See now that's the attitude that pisses vanillas off...when they think we're having more fun (or ANY fun for that matter) than they are...and that we have cookies too. Rules vs Rules - - Ops I went and made a safety statement again. Sorry. Let me rephrase. Using condoms is what swingers do best. They are bouncey, bouncey, bouncey, bouncey fun, fun, fun, fun, fun, the wonderful thing about condoms is they catch the swingers cum!!

OUCH - Anyone caught swinging bu family or friends? - Ran into Ms. Evil's cousin a few years ago. Were invited to an annual bbq non-swing party by a couple who WERE swingers but they said even though all vanilla sometimes the party could got quite steamy. Hung out, drank a lot and flirted with all the cute vanillas and our hosts. Suddenly (while naked in the hottub) I saw Ms. Evil's cousin walk in. I quickly alerted her and tried to dress her quickly and sneak her around the side of the house but she was just drunk enough to think it would be hilarious to say hi to her cousin. Turns out the cousin was a FWB of the hosts since high school and frequently joined them for sex. Of course the host instantly wanted to play kissing cousins with Ms. Evil and her cousin but she had sobered up enough by then to not want to go there. Still see the cousin every so often and though nothing was ever mentioned we all know...LOL

Swingers now officially a high risk group for STDs and STIs - Do your own research -
If you can't handle the risks, play another game.
I think that is it in a nutshell. That aside, in 11 years of swinging as a couple, we did not encounter a single problem. I wish that I could say the same thing about my single years in college.

Age - New to the swingers community - is age a factor in how a couple is viewed? - Being that we are in the older bracket, I would say that yes age can be a factor. It depends on the individuals involved, but many times people put upper limits on play partners and anyone over that age is a null factor. There are several women on this site over the age of 50 who may make some couples rethink their age limit or make an exception for them. Weare very active in the club scene here in NC and people know us and age doesn't seem to be much of a factor. I don't think that staying in ones own age bracket is the thing so much as the perception that older people are over the hill both in looks and performance. Just remember if you get too old to cut the mustard, you're never too old to lick the jar it came in.
