We've had multiple occasions where people in the wild have introduced themselves to us as a result of the rings. Mostly when we were traveling (outside of Utah). It's really not a big thing in Utah, yet... but outside of the state it's catching on relatively quickly.

We think it is a simple enough concept to be effective. Sometime back those rubbery wrist bands like "Live Strong" use were supposed to be a way to identify swingers but there were all these categories and colors and we think it failed because it was just too complicated. Wearing a black ring on your right hand, on any finger other than your middle finger, is simple enough. Not mandating it be a particular ring but just a black ring and no further rules, in our opinion will help the trend to spread. It does seem to be spreading.
We are both over 50, and so far Mrs. Delicious has not yet had anyone mention her ring, but as of today I have been approached on four different occasions all of which were recent. My work related social circles are much larger and more gregarious, and more liberal, which may explain why I have been approached and she has not. stop being so vanilla - - Most of our friends are in the lifestyle and those that are vanilla know about it. So when the vanilla men see an attractive girl, the suddenly return to infancy, drooling while hoping to see a glance of a boob and get to suck on it. weight approperate - - We have been in the lifestyle together for 10 years now and couples not being up front about just wanting to play with the wife alone has always been a problem with us. We let people know upfront we only play together.
Now on the weight subject...We advertise ourselves unashamedly about being a BBW/BHM couple. We also let people know if its Ken and Barbie they want they need to move on down to the next profile. We started a Yahoo group called Big Beautiful Couples and Ladies a couple years ago with the idea that if membership grew large enough maybe organizing an event similar to Lifestyles or Hedonism II. Naked beach - Stansbury island - As spring gets a little closer come out to the beach and work on your tan. It's a ghost town now but as temps get about 70 it'll get busier. There are all types of people there. Dudes, LGBTQ, couples, nudists (like us), swingers. The further away from the sagebrush you go the less bugs just be careful it can get muddy too. People go all the time we like to go Sunday afternoons. It's not a legal nude area so be careful and respectful. That being said in 10 years we've never had an issue. It's a beautiful place to camp.
