Swingers at work... - - My wife and I have had much the same experience. Recently, at my work a long time swing friend of ours that we had lost touch with (moved out of state) got hired to work at my company. At first I thought it could get a bit awkward, but it is all good. Luckily, our friend is very discreet and NEVER brings up anything about it at work.
In the past, we have had to deal with the indiscreet folks that want to babble on and on about this party and who they saw there, but we haven't had to deal with that in several years which is a great thing.
OK LETS BE HONEST - - We got into the lifestyle because my wife was bi but didn't want to admit it to herself. Raised Catholic and it would be a mortal sin?????? All she had to do was see a woman naked and she got totally wet... I was aware of this for years but she insisted not.. We started going to a club to the socials and she loosened up slowly. At some point one of the women took her to her room and they got it on.. Then she went with another women and got it on another time... I didn't care that I wasn't there because it was for her not for me anyway. So now we are in the lifestyle at her whim... It was never about me in the first place... The lifestyle has made her more open to herself and freer, more able to talk about sexual things.
In the 9 or so years that we've been in the lifestyle I learned that while many times men get their wives into the lifestyle it is the wives that keep them in the lifestyle. Further, women completely control the lifestyle. It's kind of like the old expression; "If a man says he's boss at home, I wonder what else he lies about". The lifestyle is much like that. From discussions with other swingers I find that just a many wives get their husbands involved in the lifestyle as mwn do. I don't know about other places like UT or CO or TX but in NC, SC, VA, and many in FL the women rule the lifestyle and I wouldn't have it any other way.
Ladies, please let everyone know who rules... and it's not pork fat, as one TV chef says...

Swingers clubs are the new singles hangout? - - I think Swing Clubs are the Best Deal in Town for single women. Most places let them in for free or a small fee. They can dance, eat, drink and have all the Sex they want all night long. If they had the same deal for men with equal amounts of women present traffic cops would have to be hired for crowd control.
So what attracted you to swinging and at what point in your life - - I married the man who helped me escape my virginity....we were each others first time. We had college friends who were swingers and when I started to feel trapped and agitated about monogamy at age 21, it was natural for us to consider the lifestyle as the best of both worlds.

Alternate Semi Swinging Site? - FInding the right connections - If swinging was originally defined as married couples who sexually engage with other like minded couples, then a lot of people on this site may not be swingers under that definition. Oh well. If husband or a wife wants to sexually engage with other people and at same time wants to deny their spouse the same opportunity, even though they too want to do the same, that is pretty fucked up.
