A two star general I knew, who has since passed away, and decided to live in Utah after he retired once said, he didn't personally want to become LDS, but he did decide that's who he wanted for his neighbors. As for the creation of public policy and legislation, the divisiveness we are currently in the midst of is super counter productive. My bad in that as well. Sorry. This state has it's policy strengths.
